If you need more directions, the direct telephone line is 24. In the daylight, it should be simple to find. We walked it after dark and had no trouble. The distance from the Police Station is about 0.1 mile. Walk around the east (left side) of the Paradise Island Police station and the large water tank, down the parking lot toward the water/marina, follow the signs. To actually get to The Green Parrot, from the Marina Village (maybe 200 yards) or the Comfort Suites (about 0.4 miles) to the east side of the round about at the entrance to the bridge to Nassau. Google shows it near the Riu and on the north side of the island. Seating by the water offers a great view of the channel, the bridge and the ferry boats.Īs to its location, the front desk clerk at the Comfort Suites says that it doesn't exist on PI but is in Nassau. When you click the parrot the other one comes in a few seconds.

You zoom to the tree and there's a parrot slightly above the tree (on my map it looks like the parrot is on the road or some other tree that grew just beside manos tree). The cooking is done in a permanent trailer behind the actual bar. I have finally found out how to shoo parrots from the tree of life. We rated The Green Parrot below Anthony's mostly because of the limited menu. We are on PI for ten days and have eaten at Anthony's, the Pizzaria and Johnny Rockets in the Marina Village. Food was good to excellent with the Philly steak and the steak wrap getting the best reviews. Our ten member party sat waterside, a bit cool but long sleeves and long pants were quite comfortable. If it is supposed to close up, there is no indication from the staff or any signage in and around the area.

I am pleased to report that The Green Parrot, at Slip #63, of the Hurricane Hole Marina, Paradise Island, Bahamas, is open at January 27, 2009.
